
Minor League Baseball Umpire, Sam joins Not a Great Whisperer Podcast with Katy Rey. Sam talks about being an umpire and the crazy times we are living in. Sam started umpiring during college as a way to make some beer money and turned it into his career. As an athlete his whole life he re-discovered a huge respect for the game from a different point of view. He is passionate about baseball and enjoys the community he is a part of. Travelling 6 months out of the year is one of the greatest benefits of the job and this year he is having to adjust with the Minors being shut down due to Covid.
